Founded by a team of Indian Institute of Technology, Madras graduates and Professors, Detect Technologies incubated in 2016 at the IIT Madras Research Park with the aim to assist process industries in driving digital transformation for asset integrity solutions.

Detect technologies resides at the intersection of patented hardware and intelligent algorithms and creates value for its industry partners by enabling development of real predictive capability. Our products such as GUMPS have been designed to simply decision making by providing real time insights about assets and especially inaccessible assets and are supported by predictive algorithms to generate real value.

We also support our partners by delivering services to drive efficiency through innovation across various functions.

Our journey so far

  • 2013

    The Beginning

    Our 4 founders along with Professor Krishnan Balasubramanian started the research with the support of IIT-M Incubation cell.

  • February 2016

    Incorporation

    We started as a small team, along with few interns joining hands to build a promising tech.

  • March 2016

    GUMPS's First Trial

    Our first trial installation in Reliance, Jamnagar.

  • November 2016

    Noctua's First Flight

    Stack inspection in Tata Steel, Jamshedpur.

  • October 2017

    Noctua's First Internal Inspection

    First internal inspection deploying IPS at BPCL, Mumbai.

  • November 2018

    Series A Funding

    We raised $3.3M from SAIF Partners, Bharat Innovation Fund, Axilor Ventures, BlueHill Capital Pvt Ltd and a few angels from the Keiretsu Forum.

  • March 2019

    Noctua's First International Inspection

    Noctua made its first international flight in Oman.
